Madrona Marsh Preserve & Nature Center

Docent for school tours: Enjoy a two-hour adventure by leading
enthusiastic students on a tour of the Nature Center and Marsh
from 10-12, Tues. through Thurs.

  • Training for this includes 5-8 sessions in the fall on the
    Marsh history, plants, animals and how to be a docent.

Volunteer Coordinator: This position is for a person who would like
to talk with potential volunteers and assist them in finding what works
best for them.

  • It may also include selecting outreach docents for various
    events (5-10) that come up throughout the year. Other tasks may be
    designated as desired and as time permits.
